About me
James Howard brings almost 25 years of military law enforcement, security, and contingency response expertise to the table. He joined the Air Force in 1999 and has supported operations around the world during the entire Global War on Terror. The start of his tactical career began when he became a member of the installation’s Emergency Services Team and was eventually assigned to the Contingency Response Group in Germany. As a Raven, he has flown over 200 missions providing fly-away security to personnel and aircraft in austere locations. He spent three years in Air Force Special Operations Command as a DAGRE, supporting special operations in Europe and Africa. James served over eight years safeguarding nuclear assets as a Tactical Response Force team leader, team sergeant for Convoy Response Force, Flight Chief, and Operations Superintendent. He has led over 250 men and women defending Air Force assets and providing law enforcement response, airbase ground defense capabilities, and nuclear deterrence operations. James has been a full-time instructor with Progressive Force Concepts since 2024.
